Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

We expect our Students to maintain a Satisfactory Academic Progress record toward completion of a Certificate or a Degree within the allotted period of time. Satisfactory Academic Progress status are determined at the end of each Semester.

The measure of Satisfactory Academic Progress at HILT is based on the number of Hours the student attempts and the Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 which scores 74-76 Numeric Grade.  

To maintain SAP record at HILT, a student is require to earn at least a minimum of 2.0 GPA. Students who are not meeting SAP requirements are reviewed at the end of each Semester, and those who do not earn a Semester GPA minimum of 2.0 which accounts 60-66 numeric points are denied promotion for the following Semester.
